I'm on a 3-day weekend cruise (Miami to Nassau) with my mom--a disaster-in-waiting. Anyway, it's only been a few hours and she declares this the worst cruise ever. Why? "I don't like the people's faces." What she isn't saying is that a large number of the people are black, "thick", and loud. She has been non-stop staring at the black people on the boat, and I can here the judgmental comments. It's just so sad that she feels that uncomfortable around people.
Meanwhile I'm enjoying seeing people that know how to have a good time!
